Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson realized that there was never a second chance once they got together in the Hamburg church. Ashley was 17 and she'd never been in a relationship with another man before. The couple began their relationship extremely slow. Love was evident at first site. Andrew was praying to God at New Year's Day, just before 2016 began. He requested God to grant him one last blessing for the year to see Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley really wanted a woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her as well as Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, they decided to take a little inspiration from the things they cherish. Ashley was born in the 40-acre property that was selected as their venue. From the trail they walked towards the field that they said "I do" in. Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley were walking through the same place when they started engaged. Since almost everything was DIY by the bride and groom, the personal touch was crucial. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony arch as well as the seating arrangements, and Ashley performed a lot of decorating and painting. Ashley states that we could never have the amazing wedding that I imagined the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral designs. Truly stunning.
